Hi I’m Amy. My husband Rick & I adopted a Whole Plant lifestyle in 2012. We have had fantastic health results. Together, we’ve lost over 130 pounds! We offer private, lifestyle coaching and Zoom cooking lessons. We love to share our knowledge of this lifestyle and hope to spread the word and help others to Be Strong, Be Well and Be Green!🌱

Pizza Bread Ingredients

  • Parmesan sprinkle:

Pizza Bread Prep Instructions

  1. Slice beefsteak tomato into ½ inch slices and place on baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Cover slices with Italian seasoning.
  3. Bake at 300 F until nice and soft, sweet and crinkly. Could take 30 minutes up to 1 hour depending on oven and tomato variety–keep your eye on them.
  4. *Pro tip: make a lot of these tomatoes at once because they store well for a few days in the fridge and are perfect for topping salads, putting into dip recipes, topping toast, pizza, pasta, and they also make a great addition to homemade salsa.
  5. Blend parmesan sprinkle ingredients together in blender, food processor, or mini food processor until it resembles parmesan cheese texture.
  6. Assemble

  7.  You can toast the bread before you top with toppings or leave it untoasted: it’s up to you.
  8. Spread the tomato paste or pizza sauce on and lay one of the tomato slices on top. You can also add your other toppings at this time as well.
  9. Place in oven at 300 F and bake until nice and warm throughout: about 20 minutes. If you use a higher temp or broil, it will go much faster, but I try to use gentle cooking methods when I can in order to retain the most nutrients.
  10. Once warmed, place on plate and sprinkle generously with parmesan sprinkle (you will have leftover parmesan sprinkle: just store in fridge in glass jar and use to top lots of various dishes that you want to add a little cheesy flavor to).
  11. Drizzle with your favorite flavor of reduced balsamic and enjoy!

Stacey Heiny is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist, Clean Beauty Advocate, and Lifestyle Wellness Mentor. She’s been on her own wellness journey for 17 years and is deeply passionate about spreading information about lifestyle wellness to as many people as she can reach. She and her husband have a 5 year old son named Koen who is homeschooled and has been raised on a whole food plant based lifestyle. They own a farm and sell their organic produce at the Farmers Market on Saturdays.

Owner of The Herban Farmacy, Stacey Heiny creates inspiration for women who want to rise up, feel their best and lead a healthy holistic life.

Stacey Heiny is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist and Food for Life Instructor with the Physicians Committee, Lifestyle Wellness Mentor and Advocate for Better Beauty. She believes in a holistic approach to life, the power of food as medicine, and fostering the right community to change the world.

Stacey helps women remove the overwhelm and create clarity with lifestyle wellness so that they can prioritize their health and serve others in the most purposeful way. She is a passionate person when it comes to helping others live well and for the last 15+ years, has dedicated her life to wellness topics that she knows can transform our future for the better.

People ask how she got started with her life transformation and the truth is, she was always an active, peppy (sometimes to a fault) and seemingly healthy individual growing up, but it wasn’t until she turned 19/20 that her wellness started to decline from years of less than optimal living. Around then, she adopted a love for Pilates as a hope for feeling better and enjoyed it so much that she decided to study Exercise Science, get certified in Pilates & Yoga and other mind body methods, and eventually owned her own Studio.

Throughout those years, her understanding of wellness as a whole increased greatly and she has been living a plant based lifestyle for over a decade now. Stacey wholeheartedly knows that implementing evidence-based nutrition has the capacity to change the world in several ways: not to mention halt and reverse chronic illnesses that plague so many of us. For that reason, she became a licensed Food for Life instructor through the Physicians Committee, certified Holistic Nutritionist, and certified in Plant Based Nutrition through Cornell University.

The most recent piece that she has added to the puzzle of lifestyle wellness beginning back in 2014 is environmental toxins which is why she so passionately teaches about clean beauty. Stacey wants to be sure people are aware of what’s coming into their homes, going onto their bodies, and the people they allow into their lives.

Stacey currently lives in Indiana (but would rather be in Kauai, HI) with her amazing little family. They own a farm where her husband Kyle works part time to grow Organic produce for the Farmers Markets and also make DIY Elderberry Syrup Kits. Their son, Koen, is the light of their lives and was brought to this world through God’s grace in 2017.

Stacey hopes her space gives you education, inspiration, and a reason to believe in creating the holistic and healthy life you’ve always wanted.
