Are you concerned about providing healthy food for your dog or cat? Does your fur baby have weight or health issues? Should dogs and cats go vegan? Join us as Prof. Andrew Knight talks about plant based dogs and cats.

Many modern companion dogs suffer from one or more chronic inflammatory diseases. A nutritionally sound whole-food plant-based diet can help prevent, manage and even reverse conditions such as gastrointestinal disease, cancer, chronic kidney disease, diabetes and food intolerances.

The environmental impacts of meat-based pet food are globally damaging. Vegan pet foods use plant, mineral and synthetic sources to supply necessary nutrients. Recent, large-scale studies into health outcomes, environmental sustainability and other key concerns for consumers, are supporting the emergence of a new disruptive pet food industry. Dr. Knight is one of the leading researchers in this field internationally and will summarize key recent developments.
