Greenings Green Warrior! Today I will share a DIY Recipe for an Alma Mask made with Indian gooseberry, or amla. Amla is packed with nutrients that make it a powerhouse ingredient for skincare. Here’s why you should consider adding amla to your beauty regimen.

DIY Amla Skincare Recipe

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Mix Ingredients: In a small bowl, combine the amla powder, aloe vera gel, date syrup , and rose water. Mix well until you get a smooth paste.
  2. Store in a clean, amber, glass cosmetic jar.
  3. Apply: Using a clean, cosmetic spoon (so as not to contaminate the mixture) scoop out some mixture onto clean fingers or a brush, apply the mixture evenly to your face and neck, avoiding the eye area.
  4. Leave On: Let the mask sit for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Rinse: Rinse off with lukewarm water and pat your skin dry. Follow up with your favorite moisturizer.

Caution

Before applying the amla mask to your face, it’s important to test a small amount on an inconspicuous area of your skin to ensure you don’t have an allergic reaction. Apply a small amount of the mixture to your inner wrist or behind your ear and wait for 24 hours to check for any adverse reactions.
