Testimonial Endometriosis – pain gone and off medications!

“I agree that WFPB (Whole Food, Plant Based lifestyle) is an amazing solution. With Lipedema usually comes with it other hormonal issues. I’ve had endometriosis for at least 10 years and the pain was horrible. I also had bad pain (probably scar tissue) from a surgery I had over 4 years ago to remove a tumor and my right ovary and fallopian tube. I’d wake up in sharp pain and I just felt like I could never get better.
Doctors tried pain meds, then told me OTC pain meds which only made me more sick, and then put me on birth control until I was ready to have a hysterectomy. I thought, “I’m not ready for that! I’m only 29 years old!!!” This was 4 years ago and by then I had taken myself off birth control and vowed to stop taking OTC (over the counter) meds.
The more I researched and more I found that my workout routine needed a better recovery, I decided to go WFPB. I do this around 90-95% of the time.
Not only has my pain gone away to where I don’t take ANY medication, I also have no inflammatory issues, no bloating, no swelling, my plantar fasciitis went away (mind you, I had this for 10 whole months with NO help other than WFPB), and my recovery period from the gym is impeccable!
So many people will say how sore they are from the workouts and I truly don’t have that at all. I lost weight super quick and I still am.
Aside from helping my current issues I wanted to prevent the ones that run in my family like Crohn’s and ovarian cancer. I truly believe that with healthy diet that even if God forbid I develop such family inherited diseases, that I would have a good fighting chance and just feel better regardless. Love this lifestyle!!!”

Estrogen is primary female sex hormone. It is responsible for the development and regulation of the female reproductive system and secondary sex characteristics. If excess hormones cause problems with fertility, what can you do? Can changing your diet get rid of them? “Imagine experiencing years of unexplained infertility until a simple diet change sets things right. “

Read Dr. Bernards book Your Body in Balance to learn more about hormones and how they effect the body.

Dr. Barnard is president of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, a faculty member of the George Washington University School of Medicine, and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. His federally funded diabetes research revolutionized the nutritional approaches to type 2 diabetes, and he now aims to empower readers with life-changing information on hormones and health.
